Author Guidelines

Carefully read the submission guidelines as follows:

A. General Requirements

The minimum standard requirements of International Journal of Basic and Applied Science must be

  1. Written in English.
  2. The length of submitted paper is at least 6 pages and no more than 10 pages. Editors will be evaluated if the papers are needing more pages than 10 pages.
  3. Use of a tool such as Mendeley for reference management and formatting, and choose IEEE style
  4. Make sure that your paper is prepared using the International Journal of Basic and Applied Science paper template and Ethical Agreement form. when if it accepted.

B. Structure of The Manuscript

The manuscript must be prepared and suggested present follow the structure:

  1. Title. The title of paper is max 13 words, without Acronym or abbreviation
  2. Abstract. The Abstract has maksimum 250 WORDSNo citation; State in the abstract a primary objectiveresearch designmethodologymain outcomes and results, and the conclusions.
  3. Section structure. Authors are suggested to present their articles in the section structure: Introduction -  Method - Results and Discussion – Conclusion - References.
  4. References:Authors must provide at least 25 references, 80% of which must be sourced from internationally reputed Scopus or WOS journals within the last 4 years. Use tools such as Mendeley for reference management and formatting, and choose IEEE style. .

The content of each section of the article:

Title

  1. Title represents the content
  2. Title has never been mentioned in other journals

Abstract

  1. Provide research problem and objective
  2. Provide applied research method
  3. Provide the result of the research
  4. Provide relevant keywords and sorted alphabetically

Introduction

  1. Provide research problem
  2. Provide writer’s insight and plan to the problem-solving effort
  3. Provide research objective
  4. Provide theoretical studies to the problems examined /  Describe the research that has been done before, then describe what you want to do.
  5. Provide expectations of the results and benefits of research

Method

  1. Describe method clearly
  2. Have cited sources that assist the author in the selection of methods.
  3. Have explained how the data was obtained.
  4. The procedure is written chronologically and clearly (research framework).
  5. The author has written how the results will be measured, tested, and evaluated.

Result and Discussion

  1. The research results are written in a logical sequence, according to the research flow in the research methods section.
  2. Research results are presented in narrative/textual form, tables, or images in the form of graphs or diagrams. Avoid displaying raw data. all tables, figures, graphs, are described and explained.
  3. Discussion An explanation of the results and in-depth analysis has been written.
  4. Comparison of results with other studies has been written.
  5. Limitations of the study or threats to validity have been written.

Conclusion

  1. Provide summary of main finding
  2. Provide research contribution
  3. Provide research implication
  4. Provide research limitation
  5. Provide future research
  6. The contribution of the manuscript and the answers to the research questions have been explicitly stated.
  7. The conclusion has been written in 1 whole paragraph.

C. Submission process (Initial Submission)

  1. Manuscripts must be submitted by one of the authors of the manuscript, and should not be submitted by anyone on their behalf based on the journal template. The submitting author takes responsibility for the article during submission and peer review.
  2. The submitting author is required to complete, sign and upload the Ethical Agreement form
  3. Failure to comply with the format and without the ethical agreement will result in immediate rejection.
  4. Authors are required to add all contributing authors' names, affiliations, and countries must be added during the submission process. Failure to add during submission may result in omission from the paper.
  5. Authors may (optionally) submit names, affiliations, and email addresses of two reviewers (on a separate page) related to the subject of the manuscript. Proposed Reviewers Name (During submission of the manuscript, Authors need to upload two proposed reviewers' names with email, affiliation, and country in a separate document.
  6. To facilitate rapid publication and to minimize administrative costs, International Journal of Basic and Applied Science encourages online submission. The website uses a journal management and publishing system that assists with every stage of the refereed publishing process, from submissions through to online publication and indexing. The submission process is compatible with the latest version of Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox, and with most other modern web browsers. It can be used from PC, Mac, or Unix platforms.
  7. the Main manuscript should be submitted (MSWord *.docx format).
  8. Other files such as the Ethical Agreement form, Proposed Reviewer form should be submitted along with the manuscript.

  1. Ethical Agreement (EA) form(Authors need to submit along with the manuscript submission as an Ethical Agreement form.)
  2. Download manuscript template(Authors need to follow the template in preparing their manuscript.)
  3. Response to reviewers template(Authors need to follow the template in responding to the reviewers' comments.)

D. Submission process (Revised manuscript based on reviewers' comments)

  1. Submitting author should log in International Journal of Basic and Applied Science
  2. Upload the revised manuscript as an Article text
  3. Authors are also required to submit a Reviewer response along with a revised manuscript.
  4. Replying to reviewers' comments, Authors are requested to use the Response to reviewers template. Downloadable Files (Select the link and Right-click and select "Save link as" / open link in a new tab to download the file)

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Doble Blind Review have been followed.
